Great quality, versatile lead and vibrant red colour
I’ve used this brand lead for over 20 years and would always highly recommend them. The two ended clip gives numerous options of use, my usual is to have it across my body and attached to the dog so there is no fear of dropping the lead, but it also affords varying length of lead for your changing needs during an excursion with your dog.
Only downside is they only come in black or red, would love HALTI to introduce more colours to the range.

One of the best we have tried
We have tried fair few different leads for our German shepherded and found this one be the most flexible in terms of adjusting g the length (with prefabricated attachment points). The lead is lightweight and provides short and longer slack options. Most recently had a dog trainer visit who has shared very similar feedback by using the same lead with dog behavioural training.

Versatile lead but over priced for what it is
I have 3 dogs which made buying these pretty expensive. I was lured by the promise of no pulling when use with the halti harness. Sadly it made no difference and only made walking a chore, constant twisting and tangling of the dog with the lead made it difficult so i ended up using just as a regular lead. I could have bought 3 regular leads for the price of this. The quality is good though and hopefully they will last but a bit gutted that the advertisement wasn’t accurate.

Brilliant lead!
This lead is one of the better ones I’ve tried.
It can be extended, but the shorter length is ideal.
It’s sturdy too, as are the walking harnesses.

Difficult to grip and flimsy clasps
I love the options a training lead gives you and you cannot fault this item on its price. HOWEVER the clips are just too flimsy even for my fairly small dog (one clip is slightly smaller and even flimsier having bent from gentle use) and the clasp on the bigger clip broke within a week or two unfortunately. Whilst it’s still useable, it’s proven the clips are as flimsy as they look so worries me if my dog was to pull that it would break completely!
The material is fairly soft, but very slippery when my dog pulls or launches towards a falling leaf in the road (crazy youngster in training!), and just did not give me a good enough grip to have a firm hold when necessary despite dog only being a small spaniel.
It’s a fair option if you’re really on a budget, but there’s much better options out there for not much more. Considering it’s a well known company in the field, I was pretty shocked they resorted to such flimsy clips seeing as they’re a common weak point on even the best leads. Overall I wouldn’t really recommend unfortunately.

Strong, versatile and lightweight
This is really great. I’ve had halti leads before and they are excellent. You can use this lead at full length or half length. It is lightweight to carry but nice and strong with sturdy fixings. I have a small Labrador (22kg)
