4.0 out of 5 stars Does the job.
Better fixing to the headrests with cable ties rather than the plastic hook attachment which breaks quite easily.looks neat when fitted and cable ties make it quite sturdy.

4.0 out of 5 stars Fantastic product, it does what it’s supposed to
Fantastic product, it does what it’s supposed to, the only reason I gave it 4 starts is the instructions are not that clear, it is quite easy to set up once you have figured it out tho, so to make it easier for everyone else I have uploaded numbered pics and this is how to set it up:
1-pic of the box
2-what you get in the box, the main rack and the 2 sides, the holders and the screws
3-the car boot, I have a Vauxhall Mokka, the dimensions on my boot are;
width – 1001
length -745
height – 485
capacity – 326
4-ok, so here is where we start to attach it to the headrests, centre the main rack on the boot or the car, then attach the poles with the holes facing down and out, make sure they are aligned with one of the headdress metal poles.
5-attach the side bits with the "3shaped" plastic bits, you should only need 4 attachments, however it would depend on how wide your boot is.
6-now choose he screw size they fits best, depending on the distance between the guard and the metal poles, I had to use the longest Ines, however the medium one would have done to job too.
7 and 8- now once you have align the poles with the headrest go ahead and start screwing the hook.
9-repeat on the other side !
If you found my review helpful give us a wee thumbs up 👍

5.0 out of 5 stars Solid, Strong, Neat Looking.
Metal grate – so it’s strong and sturdy. This is pretty easy to install and works great for my mid-sized dog. My car is not that wide in the back – so I only needed the main body – did not install the ‘wings’. It keeps the dog in place. The bolts are a bit long – but I did have some short bolts at hand that solved the problem. This Seller was very kind and accommodating when I accidentally double-ordered. Thank You.

3.0 out of 5 stars Does the job but fiddly to set up
This guard works fine once installed but having used a different brand guard from Halfords on my wifes car I found this one required far more effort to assemble and connect it to the headrest.
The hooks which attach the guard to the headrest are plastic which results in a less than secure connection and having to fine tune how tight you make the bolts without the hooks pinging off the headrest pole. I ended up using some cable ties to further secure it.
Overall this is ok and works but I wouldn’t buy another given how many parts there are and length of time it takes to install in comparison to the other brand guard I have used.

3.0 out of 5 stars Not easy to assemble and more suitable for SUV than a regular car
We have a Fiat Tipo estate car but we had to nearly force it in to get it to fit – and that is without the extenders! They weren’t required at all. The connectors are made of really tough plastic and as a woman, I needed pliers to attach them as I couldn’t do it by hand. Also, the pictures in the instruction booklet are very dark and it was hard to make out the different diagrams.
That said, once we managed to attach it, it looks fine and kept our labrador secured in the boot area. We were able to close over the cover on the boot area when not in use for the dog.
I haven’t tried it in my smaller Ford Fiesta hatchback but I would say it will be a tight squeeze if I do.

5.0 out of 5 stars Peace and safety at last!!
I wish I had thought of this years ago!! I would have saved myself hours of hoovering and cleaning my car, while preventing the dog from jumping all over the seats and shedding everywhere! I had already relegated him to the boot this year but he would still try to jump over and was ripping the seat tops with his nails. Now he lies calmly in the back and the rest of the car stays hair free. The product is very easy to assemble and clips to the head rests, sturdy enough to keep my little rogue in his place, while giving me peace of mind while driving. Any passengers now also travel hair free!

5.0 out of 5 stars Nice Gate
I bought this to install on my Vauxhall Crossland and it fit fine. I have a Greyhound and this gate is able to confine it very well. Very happy with this purchase.

5.0 out of 5 stars It was not easy to install (on your own) but is quite effective
Managed to lose the installation instructions almost immediately but found them on the web.
It was a bit fiddly to install – would be easier with 2 people to hold all the pieces in place while the clips are fitted.
The small plastic clips do need some force to clip the metal parts together but that means they stay firmly in place.
The dog guard fitted my Peugeot 5008 well when attached to the middle seat headrests.

4.0 out of 5 stars Dog Guard
Fits an Audi Q5 (2022 model) with both extensions on and a “square” or two either side. Instructions not helpful but photo guide on earlier review much better. Hard to click the “3 shaped” plastic clips onto main and side frames but once done very steady. I clipped end of side frames so metal end was covered by clip. I also found it easier to screw the bolts onto the hooks first then hook them onto the headrest supports and then tighten them both afterwards for secure fix. Irritating metal name badge now added to the middle of the main frame which isn’t end of the world but sits in the middle of the rear view mirror.

4.0 out of 5 stars Great product but doesn’t fit my car
Good quality product. Does not fit 2013 Audi A6 Avant (estate). The 2 side sections cannot be installed due to the curve of the roof. Without these the gap is just too big so dog could get through. Shame because the product appears of good quality.

4.0 out of 5 stars Good value
Found it easier to use nylon pull ties to put it up

4.0 out of 5 stars No seat climbers in my car
Just the trick, to keep the pooches from climbing on the grandchildren when I have them and saves my seats from any doggy travel sickness incidents.
Sturdy, not movement so far.

5.0 out of 5 stars Fits Merc GLE with small changes to installation
The media could not be loaded. I wasn’t expecting much due to the cheaper price and yes it’s not the sturdiest looking but it will do the job. I found instructions easy to follow and did 90% by myself, just needed extra pair of hands for actual installation.
Comes with 3 lengths of screws but even the longest didn’t fit when following instructions. I have fitted it the opposite way round with the vertical bars on the headrest side. Was still fiddly as the cross bars got in the way but managed to make it work.
There is a gap at the top and I imagine if you have a particularly boisterous or determined dog, they will get through, destroying everything in the process.

4.0 out of 5 stars Good. Sturdy
Good quality guard for the boot on car. Attached to headrest using plastic clips but it keeps the guard solid and sturdy. One of the clips broke after 5 months when I temp removed it. Emailed the company and they said they would send me replacements. 2 days later I received 6 new clips. Cannot fault them at all.

4.0 out of 5 stars Keeps the dogs where they’re supposed to be!
What more can you ask for?
Well, it could be a bit easier to fit, but, hey!

3.0 out of 5 stars OK but clips are useless
I purchased this guard for my 2021 XC40. The main section fits the gap well with just a small gap at either end so I didn’t use the 2 small extensions.
My issue was with the 2 hooked connectors that hold the guard to the posts of the rear headrest.
The plastic “hooked” end is just about big enough to go around the post but the plastic is weak and it pops off as you tighten the connector. So I abandoned the connectors and used a cable tie instead. No big deal but worth noting.
