Extra strength My 17 year old dog has been on yumove for about five years. We moved onto senior strength and have now moved onto this new strength and I can definitely see a difference in her activity. Would highly recommend any of the Yumove products.

Highly recommended Theo had started to look very stiff when he moved. He was stumbling more, especially when going upstairs. Tried these tablets and 4 weeks later, his joints seem so much better. He’s more mobile, sleeps better (less achey?), jumps up to the third step when running up them and generally seems more his old self! Oh…. And he likes the flavour and will take it like a treat, chew it and swallow. Easy!

Joint care for dogs Good product to use for dogs who are having problems with their joints.
The tablets are quite big so you may need o hide it in some food to disguise it if your dog won’t eat it as it is.
The dose is based on the dogs weight. A difference should be seen by 6 weeks so will have to wait and see.
Good product by a trusted brand but it is expensive.

High-strength version of a well-known brand. We have used regular YuMOVE tablets before for our elderly dogs, as well as other similar products, and there is little doubt that they help with the stiff joints and general mobility. This version has larger amounts of the same ingredients that are used in various combinations in all of the products. The main ones are glucosamine (in two forms here), chondroitin (in the form of green-lipped mussel), plus hyaluraonic acid, dicalcium phosphate and magnesium stearate. There is no mention of turmeric nor some of the more exotic ingredients sometimes encountered. Dosing is according to body weight, and both our dogs have been having two of the large hard tablets daily. The larger dog is probably over the 30kg range, and could have three tablets, but he does tend to ‘share’ the other dog’s food, and probably gets more than intended anyway. We are advised to double the dose for the first 4-6 weeks. This is not necessary if switching from another YuMOVE product (or presumably another similar one).
The largish tablets are supposed to be tasty, but like many dogs, ours are adept at separating out such foreign bodies found in their food, and we often discover the rejected tablets in the bottom of the bowl, or on the floor. The solution is to crush the softened tablets and incorporate into the next meal. I have found though, that they are relatively easy to break with a twist and to crush into powder.
I have shown a comparison with a rival tablet in one of the photos, together with the ingredients in that brand (Responsible Owner Dog Vitamins for Joint Care).
The current price is £41.56 for 120 tablets (about £37.40 with 10% voucher). That’s two months’ supply at two tablets per day. Not exactly cheap, but well worth it for the undoubted benefits, and much less expensive than vet bills.

Perfect combo for my senior dogs YuMOVE Senior MAX Strength which combines green lipped muscles, Glucosamine and Chondroitin is really a perfect supplement for my two 10 year old dogs.
One of the dogs has had problems with arthritis all he’s life so the max strength supplement is definitely helping with he’s mobility and pain relief. As we’ve been giving him Youmove it didn’t take long for the max strength supplement to kick in, however, as with any natural pain relief it will take some time to build up in the system.
Both of my dogs are happy taking the tablets so I can only assume they taste nice and the price although is a little high even for 120 tablets – it definitely is worth every single penny.

OK This is a joint supplement specifically formulated for older, stiff dogs aged 9+. The supplement contains glucosamine, chondroitin, and green-lipped mussel, which are known to support joint health and mobility in dogs. The maximum strength formula may also provide extra support for dogs with more severe joint issues. The 120-tablet size could provide several months of supplementation, depending on the size of the dog. This is a practical option for those looking for a joint supplement to support the health and mobility of their older, stiff dogs.

5.0 out of 5 stars Absolutely INCREDIBLE! My very active Cocker Spaniel who is a young 9 years old, hurt her lower spine when she was 3 or 4 and since then has had a small number of repeat episodes, which have gone with rest.
Since I got my two Cocker puppies, 5 months apart, my life has disintegrated and there’s very little money available. I buy them the best food I can afford, better than mine, but since 2017 I cannot afford vet appointments or medications and have had to cancel their insurance, too.
I’ve been dreading a serious medical incident and a few weeks ago it came out of the blue! She yelped at something when she was right next to me but I couldn’t figure out why. Then nothing more for a few hours until bedtime when she couldn’t jump up onto my bed, which is high. So I lifted her up.
Next morning – she was gently squeaking, very unusually for her, just laying in her bed. My heart sank, I knew it must be serious. As usual, I said ‘come on girls, getting up time’ and my other dog leapt from her bed and onto the floor but T didn’t move! Tried persuading her but nothing worked. In the end I had to convince her to come towards me in her bed and I scooped her up in my arms to carry her outside. Now I have MS and I have no idea how I found the strength to do this but as you probably all know, it’s what love can do when it’s essential, so you know how unusual this was!
Took her outside, put her down … she just sat on the floor and looked sadly at me! She couldn’t stand up. In the end I held her back end up with my hands under her lower belly for her to have a wee but her legs wouldn’t hold her up. It was completely heartbreaking and she’s never a dog to make a fuss, she’s usually full of beans. So I knew this was bad and I didn’t know what to do for her. I couldn’t afford any more than a check up with a vet and possibly one medication but no more. Plus I have no car and no support so I’d have to pay a taxi to take me and both dogs.
Over the course of the day she hardly improved, I became convinced that it was very serious and could be the end for her. I waited until the next day, just desperately hoping she would improve with rest but the next day she was hardly any better and I was losing hope. I suddenly wondered if there was anything she could take to help her. I searched her prescription painkiller drug from the initial injury and it kept bringing up this product – YuMove MAX. I read everything I could find on the product, different variants and reviews. In the end ordered it out of desperation.
She’s usually 15-16 kg. So as she was on the cusp of the sizes I decided to give her 4 tablets per day for the double dose as suggested for the initial 6-week period to start. It arrived mid afternoon and I gave her 4 tablets – which she was perfectly happy to take from my hand, although I gave her one and put the rest on her biscuits. They eat Lily’s Shepherd’s Pie (or other lamb/turkey recipe) 3 times per day. By bedtime I lifted her outside and she tottered off for a wee. Incredible! Next morning, Day 2, she got out of her bed and waited at the end of her bed for me and I put her down on the floor – she tottered to the door and I helped her down the few steps and she tottered off to wee etc. Wow! I gave her all 4 tablets with her breakfast. By the end of the day she could just about totter from living room to back door, wasn’t squeaking at all. Woke up Day 3 and she tried to get out of her bed to come to see me as she usually would! I couldn’t believe it! She has improved every day since and she’s back to normal apart from jumping up on the bed. But she’s jumping off no problem. And although she has an occasional back-end-wobble she’s otherwise fine!! I’m completely sold and have already started my other dog on them, although half the dose as she’s 12-13 kg. I’d say to anyone buy the MAX version and see what you think. I’m so impressed and relieved – I truly thought I was losing her. I am now saving for a chiropractor for her to be adjusted. McTimoney chiropractors are really gentle but very effective and there’s one in Lancashire, so that should make a lot of difference too. Don’t discount canine or equine chiropractors because they’re just as good as with humans. Don’t confuse chiropractors with any other therapist! And don’t just take anyone’s word, check they are McTimoney before using! I’ve tried one in Penrith who said he was and said he combined it and did absolutely nothing for me. Good luck!!

So so happy we found these!

5.0 out of 5 stars Brilliant product This is a miraculous product. My 14 year old dog has changed from being slow and stiff jointed to running round like a young dog. He runs up and down the stairs just because he can, he jumps up onto the(quite high) bed, which he’s been unable to do for at least two years. He now walks so quickly when we’re out that I nearly have to run to keep up with him. He can also be naughty and get his from paws up onto the kitchen worktop to help himself to anything edible which happens to be there. His energy levels have also increased, he plays with my two younger dogs and insists on taking me for very long walks! And he loves the taste of the tablets. This product really is nothing short of miraculous and I can’t recommend it highly enough.
