Works well when required. Always keep one in the cupboard for the unexpected disaster. Some other types of these tubes are difficult to measure but this one is quite easy so is a joy as you don’t have to tussle with the ratchet. Much cheaper than the vet’s version.

It seemed to work well most of the time,except that my cat doesn’t like the taste. So it’s not worth using it now I can’t hide The taste any more I have tried treats but she still leaves it. Plus it’s very expensive so I can’t afford to buy anymore.

We had a cat that was eating or drinking something outside that did not agree with it. We were given something similar by the vet which was clay like and smelt bad which meant we had to force it down our cats throat. Not a nice experience for all involved
We were recommended this and it is so much better. One cat takes it straight from the tube the other is obviously wary and so we mix it with a licky lick and he laps it up.
Quite a lot more expensive than the vet issued one but definitively worth the expense. Smells better and has a better texture. Both our cats love it and it’s a must have in the cupboard for upset tummy’s

My dog has always had a sensitive stomach and was put on a hypoallergenic diet by me vet. In spite of this she still recently got an upset stomach which was accompanied by diarrhoea. I bought this for her as it had good reviews and seemed to contain natural ingredients and no nasty chemicals. The first problem I had was getting her to take it. She simply closed her mouth and refused to let me insert the syringe. I had to devise a different way to get her to take it. I took a half slice of corned beef (which she loves), squirted some pro-kolin on it, wrapped the slice up like a parcel and put it in her dish. She then wolfed it down. She clearly did not mind the taste of the pro-kolin. I have continued to give her the product in this was since and it seems to work well. She has got over the diarrhoea but given she has a sensitive stomach I have decided to continue giving her this product but have now reduced the servings from 2 a day, to 1 day. The 2nd point which I wish to make is that I found it quite difficult to measure out the correct dosage. My dog required 5ml servings but the measurements on the syringe were in multiples of 4ml and the distance between the measurements shown was less than a millimetre, making it impossible to measure 5ml correctly. The 1st time I used the product I tried to give her 5 ml but then found that the dial had jumped to 8ml so I presume I had given her too much! However, no harm was done and although I try to give her the right measure I am quite relaxed about it now. Overall this is a good product but quite expensive. For my size of dog, I only get 12 servings which works out quite a lot. If it had been cheaper I may well have continued to giver her this product after this pack is finished but due to the cost I probablt won’t do this.

Bought this a few times now for our little Maltese when he has an upset tummy!
So easy to dispense from the tube with the measurements on the syringe and guidance on the box easy to follow.
We found it quick acting and settled his tummy in a few doses.
Reliable and consistently good and ideal as a non-prescription medication and we always keep one in the dog’s box of things!!!

This is very handy to have for those occasional tummy upsets. We like to keep the easily dispensed screw graduated tube from Protexin in the first aid box. Pro-Kolin works well and it is easily accepted and administered straight from the tube with or without food. And excellent stand-by.

Whenever my Labrador eats something she shouldn’t and gets an upset stomach I always giver her some of this paste and it works a treat.
She hated the probiotic the vet gave her but loves the taste of this and it doesn’t smell. Clear instructions, large sized tube but with easy to use with pre-measured dose using a twist and click action. Delivered on time but I keep a spare tube just in case!
Would definitely recommend.

Our dog has intermittent tummy problems. Tried this for 5 days but no appreciable change and too expensive to carry on for longer. Easy to dose our dog with the correct amount and she liked the taste of the product.

The cat developed runny poo and started using my bed as a toilet 😡 Got this on next day delivery and it worked in a few days. I added it to her food hiding it under a bit of meat and she ate it no bother.
I got the 15ml tube and that would last a week, if you have a larger animal you will need to use more so you should consider getting the larger pack.

I normally buy this at my local pet store but I needed it quickly and was stuck in the house so it was brilliant to get it delivered the next day my dog is feeling much better now. I tend to stick to this brand as I’ve used it before, numerous times.
