Very cost effective deal for two people.
The media could not be loaded.  This is a great budget hottub. I mean REALLY it is worth the spend. Both our neighbours have one and recommended it to us and I’m not normally one for following what the neighbours do. My wife and I love it and it’s amply big for two adults. We’ve spent hours in ours and have used it most days since we had it ( about a month ago). Takes about 800 litres of water. This will weigh over a tonne with people in so if it’s going onto decking, make sure your deck can take the weight. Ours sits on a patio.

You need to ensure you keep the hottub chemically balanced to avoid algae growth. This includes adjusting free chlorine, ph and full instructions of how to do this are included in the instructions. Their is also a filter that you should change after the 1st 24 hours and then frequently ( at least weekly if you use your tub a lot) after that. These are not expensive.

During setup, the pump unit will inflate the hot tub (and the detachable top that clips on securely when the tub is not in use) in a matter of minutes. Attaching the pump unit to the pool is very easy and can be done by one person.

The pump unit has simple controls to adjust temperature (heating 800 litres by 1 degree will take time) but on cooler days, even with the heather on, you will lose heat faster than you can heat it. I pull the cover up like a blanket ( it floats) to help keep the heat in if it’s cold. Max temp is 40 degrees. I find this too warm, though. There is a timer functio so you can set rlthe pump/filter/heater to run for a set time. The jacuzzi function is 1 touch and there is a lock feature to prevent accidental operation that is enabled/disabled by a long press of the lock/unlock key.

The pool is wuite sturdy and looks decent enough but you should not sit or put too much weight on the edges. The pump is not too noisy and has a fairly long power cable with a built in RCD. The dark and light-grey of the pool and the pump should fit in with any garden

Setup: pool/ pump etc (45 mins)
Filling : 2.5 hours (depends on your water pressure)
Initial chemical dose and heating up : Allow at least 12 hours.

You will need to regularly check free chlorine, PH and alkalinity and dose with chemicals (not supplied) regularly.

You will need to change the water after frequent use. You can extend this by always showering prior to use and making sure the surrounding ground is clean. Do not use the pool if you have moisteriser or other skin lotions as an oily film will form and you will get a foam when you use the jacuzzi function.

I recommend buying some foam to go under the pool to make it more comfy and help insulate it. I got some interlocking foam tiles.

Emptying through the drain plug takes an age so I will be investing in a pump for this purpose.

Always replace the cover when not in use as the pool is quite deep enough for pets or unsupervised children to drown in and always test the water with the supplied testing strips before use. Scoop out leaf matter and the inevitable drowning insects. If the water looks murkey try cleaning chemicals but if you can’t get it to look nice and clear, drain clean and refill.

Hope this review helps you. There are some yt videos showing how to etc that I watched that helped me if you need them.

    Love this hot tub
It is easy to set up only takes 15mins although there are no instructions its still quite simple.
Take a while to get to temperature but once there the tub will hold the heat so you can turn it off over night and it only dropped 7 degrees.
My kids love it especially the jets
Its definitely not a 4 person tub 3 adults max at a squeeze

Great value, strong jets & high temperatures
Working long hours at a desk has opened up a world of aches which a hot bath just couldn’t fix. We managed to inflate and setup the tub within 45 minutes, which was a simple process, and was adding water shortly after.

    Pros
    – Thick pvc walls give it a sturdy premium feel.
    – Easy to inflate & setup.
    – High temperatures (40°c) mean its great in winter too.
    – Zero maintenance all-in-one pump, excluding water levels obviously.
    – Easy to clean.
    – Powerful bubbles to help loosen muscles.
    – Little to no noise when idle.

    Cons
    – Rise in electricity bills, upto £2.00 a day when keeping it at (38°C) . Although we turned it down to 20°C Monday- Thursday and found the heaters rarely came on, which saved us alot midweek.
    – Parts are a little expensive.
    – No lights as standard.

Easy Set Up. Check For Holes Before Use (it can happen). Activate Lazy Spa 2yr Warranty.
After inflating the tub I noticed it was deflating somewhat before I’d even put water in it. After spraying the outside with soapy water I could not find the leak so decided to try the inside liner even though it hadn’t even been filled with water or sat in yet and there I found a small slit that looked like it had worn in by itself from being in storage somewhere for nearly a year (tubs are manufacture dated). As well as several parts missing and a stained inside liner (either old storage tub or used and returned item) I contacted Lazy Spa who acknowledged the problem from all the evidence I’d sent them and they replaced the tub under warranty within a few days. The warranty department were excellent and I’m very pleased with their help. If purchasing one of these be sure to open it asap, check all the parts are there, make sure all is working and fill out the extended warranty slip. New tub is now filled up, water is warm and I’ve still yet to sit in it but as we go into the end of May bank holiday with nice weather I will finally get to relax in my hot tub. Thank you Lazy Spa.

, often get the E02 error when pool is at max water level and the air jet pressure is high
Easy to inflate and assemble but filter is very sensitive

It would be a great tub, however
Great tub, east to setup and use but it is very unreliable. First it was deflating so had to send it back, then the replacement was also faulty, it was leaking, now I’m told I won’t get a replacement so I have to send it back. Be careful!

    Very pleased I bought one
Love this hot tub. So relaxing after work to come home to and use. I thought I could use with just chlorine tablets but it’s not enough. Water turned green quite quickly. So I have purchased the chemical starter kit and do it properly then the water should last a couple of months .

    Shop around
Easy set up, great product. Shop around I bought for ease of delivery then found same product locally for £150 cheaper. Boxed it isn’t as big as I thought easily transported in small hatchback.

5.0 out of 5 stars Good quality, all works well
Good quality product easy to setup. I’ve had factory damage and had to go to Lay-Z spa service for support. Service have replace for me Liner without any weird questions. Lay-Z support highly recommended to in case of this product.

5.0 out of 5 stars Poor set up instructions, otherwise excellent spa
Had I not been determined to get the thing up during my lunch break I would not have. The instructions were so unclear and once I’d made some sense of them I realised they weren’t even accurate for the model. If there had been proper instructions, the set up is SO EASY, so that’s a shame. Once finally set up, it’s been amazing, gets really hot, comes with the inflatable insulating cover when definitely helps. Base is well cushioned, I’d say it would comfortably seat 2 although I’m sure you could squeeze another 2 in.

5.0 out of 5 stars Very good item
We bought for holidays unfortunately it broke but I think just cuz it was faulty nothing to do with the seller but for the first few days we used it was amazing nice mad relaxing gonna but a new one since it was so easy to return and we got a refund really recommend easy to set up and very enjoyable

  14. Zoe Fox (verified owner)

4.0 out of 5 stars Was good for a couple of months
It did the job for 2 people but after 3 months it’s got an error code that won’t be fixed saying E08 which is some kind of a power surge. I’ve tried to reset it but it just won’t give!! Looks like I’m sending it back!
Be warned though..,. Your electric bill will be extortionate!

UPDATE!!!!?? It’s me that’s the numpty…. There’s a tiny little button on the box that says ‘reset’ 🤦
