Saw it on social media and thought it was a good idea.
It’s well made, has a little switch to make sure it doesn’t leak and has a decent size bowl from which you can drain unused water back in to the bottle – very clever.
Size wise – the one I bought works well for a medium size dog, we have a cocker spaniel and it’s perfect.

I’d give it 4.5 stars. The only teeny tiny negative is the wee on/off slide but next to the big button is a little stiff. It can be moved but hurts your finger a little but it’s a very very minor negative.

My dog, who normally prefers dirty puddles & muddy streams loves this because it’s ‘running water’! It’s easy to carry on walks in a water bottle holder and brilliant for the car. One thing that could be improved is to somehow make the top flip over and seal – though saying that the present design doesn’t leak.

We use this for walks in the woods or to take out in the summer. Our 14 month old now nudges us when she wants a drink. So easy to press the button to release the water into the scoop and by keeping your finger on the button any left over water goes straight back into the bottle. Love it.

This is so easy to use and contains enough water for a medium size dog on a very hot day. No waste as what he doesn’t drink can be returned to the bottle and no faffing around with bottle and bowl. This is ideal for anyone hiking with their dog, or for any other time too. It is a bit expensive for a what is really only a plastic bottle with a valve, but it does the job perfectly.
