CHECKLIST FOR USING FRONTLINE SPOT ON:
– Your dog is at least eight weeks old
– Your dog weighs at least 2kg
– Your dog shows no signs of lesions or feeling unwell. If they show any of these signs, you should not apply the product and see a veterinary surgeon
No flea product can stop fleas jumping onto your pets. It is normal to see a few fleas on your pet after treatment as new fleas continue to hatch out from infested environments. These fleas will be killed within 24 hours of jumping onto your treated pet.

HOW TO WEIGH YOUR DOG SAFELY
If you can lift your dog without risking injuring yourself, then first weigh yourself on your bathroom scales, then set the scales to zero and stand on them holding your dog to work out your dog's weight; or weigh yourself holding your dog and subtract your own weight. Alternatively ask for a weight check for your dog at your veterinary practice or local pet shop.

Having two cats and a labrador we occasionally have issues with fleas which is why I purchased these flea drops for our dog. These claim to kill fleas, ticks and lice.
When purchasing make sure that you select the right product for your dog as the doses are dependent on your dogs weight. We have a 25kg lab so I selected the drops for dogs weighing over 20kg and up to 40kg.
It’s fairly easy to apply the treatment and our dog doesn’t seem bothered by it at all. Part your dogs fur between the shoulder blades, I find it easier to use a comb for this, that way you don’t get any on your hands either. Then dispense the product onto the dogs skin. It needs to be on the skin rather than the fur for it to work. Usually my hubby holds the dog still while I put the drops on.
We’ve found these drops to work well whenever we’ve noticed fleas, they seem to disappear pretty quick after application. I always hoover more frequently too though to kill any fleas/eggs in carpets or upholstery and if necessary also use a household spray. Once we’ve got on top of an infestation these drops really help to keep them at bay. I can’t say that we’ve ever had problems with ticks or lice on our dog though.
These drops are good value for three treatments, one per month so three months worth of protection. If you have multiple pets I’d recommend treating all pets at the same time to make sure you break the fleas life cycle properly.
I’m happy with the effectiveness and value of these flea drops so I will keep using these ones.

Fleas are gone
I’m OCD with cleaning and when my dog got fleas I bathed her with a flea shampoo and a slightly cheaper flea product. I steamed the carpets washed all fabrics her bed, and upholstery but within days the fleas were back.
So next I purchased the frontline and the fleas are finally gone.
Yes it’s not cheap but you really get what you pay for.
