5.0 out of 5 stars Lay-Z-Spa 60011 Vegas Hot Tub
Its very easy to inflate plenty of videos on youtube on looking after your hot tube , we emptied ours in November ready for winter can’t wait for the spring warmer weather to start using again , the hot tube is well made and the control unit ( pump) is easy to setup,

5.0 out of 5 stars My Second one
Good size, easy to set up, great quality, bought this to replace the same model I’d had for over 3 years. Roomy.

5.0 out of 5 stars You need one of these!
How did we survive without this?…. We’ve bobbed around in expensive, fixed spas and always comment on how they don’t match up to our Ibiza. Very clever and sturdy construction, easy to assemble/disassemble, and the pump unit works brilliantly (plenty warm enough with loads of bubbles). I would say it’s more suited to 3-4 people (6 is rather ambitious), but it’s the perfect pool in every other way, highly recommended!
PS: Get yourself a foam matt to pop it all on. Then once you have the water shocked and settled, we found a floating dispenser with Clearwater’s Multifunction Chlorine Tablets to work best, keeping the water safe (consistent PH etc). There’s very little maintenance to be fair, but I’d keep a bottle of Foam Reducer handy as it can sometimes become a little frothy… and you’ll need filters, maybe replacing them every 3-4 sessions. To date, it appears to be quite economical, no huge energy bills after using say once a week. 👍

4.0 out of 5 stars Great fun to use but NOT to set up.
No comment on longevity, this is from a person who has had the item for two weeks and is a ‘first impression’ review.
It is nice to use, it’s comfortable to sit in, the achievable temperature and the controllability of the temperature are both great. The airjets? Well, they’re nice but there is only one setting – 11 – and you can’t adjust it so unless you want to continually sit in a maelstrom it’s of limited use. I’d love rot be able to turn it down to ‘sneaky fart’ but ‘brontosaurus the day after a feed of beans’ is all that’s available. It sounds like a jumbo jet taking off too. This does not prevent me from enjoying sitting in it with the jets off very much.
From the point of view of set up, the instructions are just crap. They lack detail, the illustrations are generic and sometimes the instructions are just plain wrong. This should not be complicated for Lay-Z-Spa but they’ve cut corners to save pennies and I think much less of their products because of it. YouTube videos and Google were the resources which helped me to commission the thing, the instructions were mostly just a hindrance.
If I change my opinion on anything I’ll adjust my review but this seems to have been a good expenditure of two-and-a-half hundred quid at this point.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great value and size
So glad we chose the square model
Lovely and spacious for 2 people and not too intimate with four. Good strong bubbles
Would recommend placing it on an insulated board and a mat to preserve some heat. Pump is a soft drone so not too annoying unless right outside bedroom window!!
It comes up to temperature quite quickly and holds its temperature when left on
37 38 39 is just lovely
the base is squishy and quite comfy. We have it on all the time and were in it on Xmas day!
Once inflated, surround is very sturdy and good to climb over. The lid might need pumping up occasionally but easy to do.
The Clips need to be done up tightly to avoid water pooling on the lid. This will happen if it’s not on a completely flat surface
All in all , very pleased, great Value for money and it has changed our leisure time for the better. Now we go in every evening instead of watching trashy TV, a perfect wind down before bed.

5.0 out of 5 stars Best purchase this year
We love this spa!! It fits 4 people comfortably and is fab when you get to use it by yourself. Gets to 40 degrees slowly, about a day to get to temp, and this is a bit too hot for us. Once you get the hang of adding the chems (we use bromine), the pool is lovely and clear and will last more than a week. On the downside, the instructions aren’t very clear as they were for another spa. You have to clean the filter every day and use the test strips regularly because a sunny day will deplete the chems in 2 hours. Time release tablets don’t work properly so I crush them and add into the water when the test strips show low bromine. The cover is fab, helps keep the temp about 28 on a cool day and 34 when its above 20 degrees. The spa has helped with stress relief and achy muscles and joints. Best purchase this year.

5.0 out of 5 stars Basically plug and play inflatable hot tub
Cheap, well designed, good materials its easy to lay out and put together;Fill time is around 2 hours up to working temp, 37° ,5 hours the filters are of the paper cartridge type ( upgrade if you can asap) if there is a let down with this hot tub its those filters they need constant cleaning and definitely need changing after 7 days of family use !;and they are expensive! The filter/heater housing is a major redesign from those used in the past and is far more efficient and morw solidly built !

2.0 out of 5 stars Just arrived, so this is first impressions
Bear in mind, we are totally new to this.
A lack of information on the webpage. Now I’ve got the paperwork, I have concerns.
24 months warranty turns out to be an extended warranty that you have to register within 28 days of purchase (but does not appear to cost). That is for the pump only. The covers, liners and lid extend to 12 months. There are conditions of use that can invalidate the warranty.
There are 10 pages of “Important Safety Instructions” which gets one more worried the more one reads.
Only with the instructions does one learn:
1 The spa must be supplied through an isolating transformer or supplied through a residual current device (RCD) having a rated residual operating current not exceeding 30mA.
2 The spa must be connected to a grounded mains supply socket with a supply cord fitted with a plug and PRCD with a tripping current of 10mA. [if leakage current is detected more than 10mA, the device will operate and cut-off the power supply, Don’t reset yourself by yourself. You must contact the local service agent to check and repair the product.]
3 The power source on the wall of the building should keep more than 4 metres (approx 13feet) away from pool.
4 CAUTION: In order to avoid a hazard due to inadvertent resetting of the thermal cut-out, this appliance must not be supplied through an external switching device, such as a timer, or connected to a circuit that is regularly switched on and off by the utility.
I am not an electrician and have limited knowledge of electricity, e.g. correct amp fuse for devices.
None of the photos or the video show cabling or set up. In the video, the pump unit is only feet from the swimming pool.
Other information on the best surface, something flat and sturdy, but one photo shows it in use on decking without an undermat. Such use could easily invalidate any warranty if damage occurs.
When they picture people in the tub with drinks, they must be non-alcoholic as “the use of alcohol, drugs or medication before or during spa use may lead to unconsciouness with the possibility of drowning”.
I thought, from the blurb and write-up it was virtually “plug and play” installation. Anything but. The parts are numbered on checklist page but not named. In the assembly pictures nothing is numbered or named. Leaves to trial and error.
What looks like a square lilo, am I to presume it is a liner for the bottom? But it floats – page 24:pics 5 and 6 indicate airfill. Finally worked out, it’s to fit inside the cover – the diagram shows upside down. If only parts were named in the diagram!
I wish it had been clear that it came with a top cover. I’ve ordered an unnecessary one.
Best advice when setting up. Read all the instructions then carefully cross through all the stuff that does not relate to your model. With hindsight, that would have saved some confusion.
It is now inflated. Ready to fill with water and try out later. First, though, add chemicals and do not use for 24 hours.
EXPECT AN UPDATE ON THE ACTUAL USE OF THE TUB.
