Good buy
Got this on a good offer at a decent price, we adapted it to fit our index spa and works very well

Great Product
Simple to assemble, great all round design. 1 hang up, can’t keep clipped to tub if you want to put lid back on.. Over all more than happy.

Flimsy but does the job
Very hard to assemble at first. Once you work it out you are good to go. I put a hole in it by accident but will buy another.

Total lack of detail on assembly instructions. Gave up and am returning it
I bought this canopy with high hopes. However there are several problems.
First;y, the fibreglass poles seem awfully brittle, and unable to bend very far at all. I’m afraid that if I bend them to the extent pictured, they will snap – and I’d be unable to return the broken item.
Secondly, the rods have small metal ends, which are initially utterly obscure as to how they fit onto the spa. I asked a question about this, and the most helpful answer described how the ends fit into canvas pockets on the canopy itself – which in turn was just placed onto the spa and held in place with the guy ropes. I duly tried this – and found the pockets (which are not at all obvious) – but the pockets seem to be inverted, meaning the opening of the pockets is opposite the direction the poles are coming from.
Nevertheless, I tried to assemble it like this – but it was all so awkward and in danger of snapping the poles. I gave up, and have initiated a return.
There’s also no actual video available of this being assembled: just a sub-60-second promotional video showing the canopy in action, when fully assembled. The instruction leaflet that comes with the product has tiny diagrams, showing no detail at all.

Just what you need for your lay z spa but poor quality
It’s perfect to create a bit of shade on your lay z spa but the quality is very poor. The fibreglass rod broke within an hour of use when we had a breath of wind, as others have said the fibreglass rods split as they are under a great deal of tension. Amazon have replaced it but I’ve not had chance to use thenew one yet, I’m sure the quality will be the same so plan on taping the joints when assembled.

Good
Good product! This is the second one we bought as the old one disintegrated with weather over 2 yrs

5.0 out of 5 stars Easy setup
A perfect addition to your lazy spa! It is huge! Covers almost half the diameter of our miami. We love it. Gives fair/good privacy in residential areas for those peeping neighbours. Great for rainy days too. We love it!

4.0 out of 5 stars Getting new poles sent to me a little bit shorter to fit easier
Having purchased this for palm springs tub, on putting together, I found very tight, especially the two short poles, once in place, the two short poles snapped near the joints, so not happy with the poles, but the canopy is ok and gives that privacy, but the two short poles need to be a little shorter to ease putting together.

1.0 out of 5 stars Breaks easily – Fibre glass poles not adequate for job
Used this product a handful of times, and not in windy weather. On last use the 2 shorter fibre glass poles split. Did contact seller as this seems to be a common defect with the canopy but due to being outside 90 day purchase window they will not exchange, and Amazon will not cover in A-Z guarantee. If purchasing please be aware that this product does not seem to be fit for purpose. Also requires 2 people to put up and must be assembled and dismantled each time as uses cover clips to stay attached. Will not purchase another, will go back to using a patio umbrella with built in SPF.

3.0 out of 5 stars Good product, but beware return Ts and Cs
Nice product, but partner bought one cheaper the same day I coincidentally bought this one, so wanted to return it, unopened. It cost £9.95 to return, at my own cost! So beware, you’re better off buying Amazon direct, with free returns available. I’m down a tenner on an item only worth £22, so feel completely ripped off!!

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Canopy
The media could not be loaded. Fitted to my Helsinki Hot Tub like a dream. Keeps the wind off and protected from the sun.
I’ve left mine on for weeks and had no problems with rain and wind.
My only gripe is that you can’t fit the Hot Tub Cover while this is fitted. If you want to fit the cover you have to remove it and try and store it somewhere assembled or disassemble and pack away which is a pain.
Aside from that it’s been a great addition to our privacy when using our Hot Tub.
I highly recommended this canopy.

4.0 out of 5 stars Great bit of kit
Love it, fits ok wouldn’t say perfect but it does what it needs to do, keeps the rain off half the hot tub and if it’s sunny it’s a nice shade

4.0 out of 5 stars Good for shade but not easy to get up and down
It’s great for shade in the hot tub does the job well, my only criticism is that once it’s up with all the poles like a tent, you don’t want to take it up and down. You can’t really leave it outside as it clips into where the hot tub cover goes so it takes up a lot of room in the house and is a pain! Would be better if it was pop up like a lot of tents are.
