Though the wire woulb be thicker than it is but confident they will be strong enough as not long enough for my puppies to get any speed up so less kinetic energy when they reach the end of the tether. Will alter the review if they don’t hold up.

Not recommended for active or strong dog, my collie broke the 2 cable latches in the one day, the spike is fine so just attached his own long lead, much more reliable and safe latch. These cables are more suited to a wee lap dog

I have two of these now which I use with my two (medium sized) pooches when camping. Easy to screw in and does the job (get a nice solid stick or similar to help screw them in to harder ground if it’s been a bit dry). The little rascals haven’t escaped yet so all good in my opinion

LOVE this! It has saved me so much. I have 3 year old twins and doing muddy dog walks together is great fun apart from the return to the car and having to admin two muddy, wet children and two muddy wet dogs! But being able to tether my boys to this has made it all possible!
It definitely has to be attached into solid ground and well wound in – for example the soft sand at the beach didn’t hold it – but otherwise it’s amazing. Highly recommend!

This is brilliant! Looking after my sisters little dog who is an energetic, escapist with recall that’s more of an occasional whim. This with a long 10m lead gave me peace whilst she was in the garden and freedom for her to roam about, once I’d got her a harness that resembles a straight jacket. Obviously I never left her alone incase the lead went around her neck. The stake was sturdy and goes far enough in the ground that even running at full pelt she couldn’t pull it out and escape. She’s a small Cavachon. Glad to give her back without an escape incident 🤣

I used these while camping for my 2 small dogs. The wire does the job but the clasps are cheap and 2 of them wouldnt open properly resulting in me splitting my nail, luckily husband was on hand to assist. Too late to return as used but will have to replace 2 of the clasps when I get home. Very disappointed 😞
