4.0 out of 5 stars Deshedding tool comb Easy to clip together. Didn’t fall apart on first use which was my main worry with items like this. Feels sturdy. Dog was unsure about it at first but after a few brushes she was OK. I would say test the comb on your hand before the dog to see how much pressure your comf with using. The tool is lightweight but the metal comb part itself isn’t sharp but does have some weight to it. I think at first I was using too much pressure as she kept nipping me but after a few tries on me then her we figured out a decent pressure that was comfortable for her. As you can see from the picture it does remove the excess fur but slowly. Not an issue if your dog is calm whilst being brushed. I’d advise doing the brushes with breaks or maby once in the morning and once before bed as it can get boring for the dog and start to ache your arm/wrist.
It also got some of my goldendoodles tiny lugs out that her other brushes couldn’t so that’s an added bonus.
Would recommend this item and will buy again in future if needed

I looked at a few deshedding brushes and chose this one and I’m so glad a did although it’s not expensive it really does the trick you can feel and see it brushing out the under coat not just the top layer like a normal brush would highly recommend

My newborn was constantly covered in black hair. He HATES being brushed or so I thought. He stood still for me the entire time and I was in shock the amount of hair that came out of him, no more black hairs all over my baby. I’m so glad Iv finally found a brush that works and seems painless for him. Amazing product would definitely recommend

3.0 out of 5 stars Not as good as expected Arrived on time but had my concerns when I opened it,I have a English springer and a gs crossed with a spaniel,with the latter she has quite soft fur and so the come works reasonably well,with the springer who has longer and slightly thicker and rougher fur I have to use a different comb (wider bristles),he doesn’t like getting brushed with it,just pulls his fur so i don’t use it on him

5.0 out of 5 stars Brilliant on short haired dogs I have a short haired terrier. Most brushes seem to just take out obvious lose hair but this gets down and pulls out the soft downy fur that clogs up her coat. Definitely recommend it for short haired dogs. Her coat already looks better!

I was tearing my hair out with all the fur in my house, I brushed my chihuahua daily, bought better dog food, fish oil etc to help with her coat, yet still, I looked like a yetti by the end of the night! I purchased this assuming it wouldn’t work quite as well on short haired dogs, but omg, this was an amazing buy! I’m godsmacked by the amount of fur it collects… The excema on my hands has reduced also so it’s a win win situation! Definitely recommend!

I was shocked at how much hair this removed in one ten minute groom. My dog looks so much better and no hair all over the house, plus, after putting the hair outside a whole estate of birds nests have gone up. Definitely recommend.
