It was not difficult to put together, but my old dog did not fancy it! He prefers an old cardboard box step for getting in the car. It looks a bit flimsy.

This item in itself is excellent – my dog has no problem mounting the steps. Unfortunately the cover that was supplied keeps slipping when my dog goes up and down the stairs. It would have been better that the cover been non-slip. Also an added bonus would have been to have had two covers supplied which would have meant that one could be washed and the other used. Otherwise the product in itself is excellent and did the job I was seeking.

Bought this to replace previous one of the same design as my sister accidentally lent her weight on it and broke 2 of the steps. This works perfectly for its intended use. Supports a dog of pug size easily and is sturdy enough to last. My dog could no longer jump onto the sofa comfortably and this provides the solution now she runs up and down these happily. Removable cover is perfect for washing but the front does tend to roll up our solution was to tie the straps underneath on either side to each other with string to prevent movement.
