4.0 out of 5 stars Sturdy Dog Ramp It has proved to be surprisingly easy to encourage our elderly dog to use this ramp. It is very solid and does not flex under his 30 kilo weight, but does take up quite a bit of space in the car.
Before use, I did adapt it with a couple of much larger and softer door-stops in place of the small buffers at the point where the top rests on the tailgate threshold, so as to protect the car’s bumper below. I also attached soft hosepipe to the plastic webbing under the ramp which lies just above the bumper when in use, so as to avoid the possibility of scratching. These modifications made, I am very pleased with the product; more importantly, my dog is pleased too.

5.0 out of 5 stars Brilliant for dog Works great. Easy to locate at back of car. Dog took a littlepersuasion to use it but now ok. Old do loves it. I would recommend this dog ramp as it is easy to set up and use. Folds in two and can store next to dog or on back seat.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great ramp Very happy with this ramp for our 45kg old girl with dodgey legs 🙁
It took a few goes to get her used to it. Its funny – humans see a ramp – and we just ASSUME that the dog will perceive it in the same way! Bless her – she got it though and just has to be guided on a short lead.
Very good ridges for her paws to give her grip.
Tip – remember to leave some room for the ramp – don’t have it too steep!
Ramp didn’t move out of position once – even with a bit of a camber.

3.0 out of 5 stars Good but a bit wobbly It has taken a few weeks to train our pup to walk down the ramp. It’s a bit shaky and would be more stable if there was a clip to hold the hinge joint in place. I usually have to hold this part together to make it stable enough for him to walk down

4.0 out of 5 stars Solid and strong….. It’s a bit heavy to handle for an old man like me, and the dog DOESN’T like slipping on the plastic surface. Using a cloth cover has worked well so I’m going to stick so cut down carpet tiles on it to give some clawed foot adhesion!! It is going to be well fit for purpose and the two of us can handle it.

3.0 out of 5 stars Very slippery Got for our older dog, he slipped off the first few times as there is no grip. Had to spend money on a door mat to stick on to make it easier for dog to use. Took a bit of training to get him to use it. Disapointed its so slippery. Fine now we have added the mat.

4.0 out of 5 stars Sturdy & strong to hold dogs weight, lightweight to carry I have a 48kg dog it easily holds her weight 1st time she wasn’t keen but 2nd better so I hope each time will b that much easier. It is lightweight to carry. I think it could have been longer as I have a Kuga so the boot is bit high & I feel this mayb a little steep so if any improvements I would suggest just a bit longer for the higher cars. I would recommend this sturdy & easy to use perfect for your less mobile pooch.
