Confirmation this cover saves lots on electricity cost
Very well made cover fits my Miami lay-z-spa perfectly. Having now had it in use for 2 weeks thought I’d share that on average since using it the temperature in my tub overnight when not on has dropped on average only 6 °c each night given outside night time temp was between 8-10°c.
Without this cover I was losing 20°c as don’t leave spa on overnight.
Easy to fit over Miami spa with lid fitted and although it has just one strap to secure it actually in my opinion doesn’t need to be used.
At £96 Did think it was a little expensive but going by temperature it retains given current electric prices I will have saved the money in as little as 7 weeks so can only if someone is looking like I was to retain spa heat overnight then this is a very good product and I highly recommend it for Miami lay-z-spa.

Brilliant energy saving product
This cover is a perfect fit for the Lay Z Spa Toronto. Although the rigid foam walled Toronto is 40% more efficient than the inflatable hot tubs I wanted to add to that as the lid is still just an inflatable one. I also wanted to protect the actual hot tub from dirt and sun damage.
The cover is really well padded and is a waterproof leatherette finish. In combination with the hot tubs in built insulation and 50mm kingspan insulation plus 10mm foam matting underneath, the hot tub maintained temperature of 37°C for 13 hours overnight with the heater off.

Worth every penny
I was somewhat apprehensive when considering this purchase, durability, running cost etc.
However the Barbados spar is so cost efficient to run & with the thermal cover it hold the heat.
Im so glad I decided to give it a go. Love it to bits. Great purchase

This is a cost saving device
I have the Lay-Z-Spa Helsinki, purchased this thermal cover & a second 5cm wider – use both together, hit tup set at 40 degrees on 24/7 – reheats on a 5-hour cycle, without thermal covers reheated every few hours. I have solar power & battery storage – hot tub is not taking any energy from the grid – great fun at zero electric costs. Happy Summer – grandkids love it 😊

Great product
So pleased with this cover makes so much of difference. I had the tub set for the right temp and covered up and in six hours it has only dropped 1 degree. It is made of good quality and fits the Milan perfect. Highly recommend and to get the correct fit so it can work correctly and you get the most out of it.

I should have gotten one of these a long time ago. They’re brilliant. I thought they were just expensive covers but they’re really great. It reduces the time it takes to heat my jacuzzi up which as we all know takes ages, but it retains the heat for a very long time. I just got mine yesterday, I heated the jacuzzi up to 36 degrees with the cover on, then my kid decided he didn’t want to use the it today (after saying he did). We don’t keep it heating overnight we put it on in the morning so it’s ready for use in the evening. Well I got up this morning and to my surprise, the jacuzzi we heated to 36 degrees yesterday had dropped only 2 degrees! it was sitting there at 34 degrees. This will save us loads of money and time, if you have a spa you should get one and it should pay for itself in reduced heating costs! It also keeps the lid of the spa nice and clean and doesn’t cause it to sag when it rains which is nice too. Very impressed!

I ordered, and was charged for this cover for my Lay z spa Miami but was sent a Clever spa cover which costs less than half of the Lay z Spa and was not very good for insulation. I have returned the Clever spa and hopefully will receive the correct item.
Update
I have now received the correct product (in only 2 days) and the difference between the two is immeasurable. The Cleever Spa i litlle more than a glorified duvet wit a lightweight cover and had poor insulating quality.
The Lay z Spa is a much more considerable product and so so far has maintained heat very well. Well worth the price difference.

I was worried this would be a waste of money as it’s not a cheap accessory, however, waking up in the morning to find the pools dropped only 2 degrees was fantastic. No longer running the heater for several hours each night to get it back to temp.
In addition, the outer material is very robust and adds a lot of protection; both from UV and cat claws. I’ve no doubt this will add many years to my spa.

This fits my Helsinki tub perfectly width wise but is about 10cm short of the ground height wise. I don’t think this is a serious problem thermally as most of the heat is escaping upwards.
Sadly impossible to tell how much electricity it saves for various reasons but the heater certainly seems to be on a lot less and if you put your hand under it you can feel the warmth that has escaped from the tub but it has captured.

Perfect wish I had of known about it when buying lazy spa I put water up to 40 then at night I turn it off altogether at the moment it’s 4 degrees at night the weather and in morning like 8 hours later it’s only lost two degrees so mid afternoon I’ll turn it on and only takes about an hour to hear back up to 40 for use. They should sell this with the basic machine saves time and money so definately a good buy
